The rocky knob Sampo on the western bank of Konchezer is especially popular with guests of Karelia. The mountain got its name owing to the Soviet-Finnish film "Sampo", which was filmed in these places in the 1960s. The mountain offers a magnificent panorama of the forests and islands of Konchezer.
