A settlement in the Prionezhsky district of the Republic of Karelia, located 54 km south of Petrozavodsk. The Ladva railway station is located in the center of the village. There is a bus service (suburban routes). Two historical monuments are preserved in the village: The grave of Lieutenant Colonel Kvyatkovsky, who died here in 1941; Mass grave of Soviet soldiers. The Ivinka River flows through the village, within the boundaries of the village the Shapsha River flows into it. Ladva-Vetka emerged as a settlement in 1924. In the early 1930s, settlers began to arrive in the village, mainly from the Vologda region. In those years, Ladva-Vetka had a Ladvinsky timber industry enterprise, a fire department, a forestry, a bakery, and a clinic.
